The Real Story
October 15, 2008 Anarchy in the Hellenic Republic
Okay, I was a political science major in collge. Don't laugh, I use my degree more than most people on a daily basis. Other than visiting most of the Communist countries on earth (including a sneak trip into NK one time on a frozen lake), it really does come in handy with students.
For instance, today some of us were on campus when we stumbled into the political party congress of the School of Philosophy. It was a smoke filled room of 300+ students, all trying to get their points across at one time. I wasn't understanding much of what was going on, and my purpose there was to meet students, so I walked up to a fellow and asked him if he spoke English - which he did, almost perfectly.
